Terroir
The vineyards are situated in the Haute Vallée de l'Orb, near Mons-la-Trivalle, characterized by clay and limestone soils. This terroir provides excellent drainage and contributes to the mineral complexity of the wine. The elevated position of the vineyards ensures cooler nights, which help preserve the grapes' natural acidity and aromatic qualities.

Winemaking Process
Wim Wagemans employs a natural and minimal-intervention approach to winemaking. The Chardonnay grapes undergo carbonic maceration for a few days, a technique that enhances the wine's aromatic profile and imparts its characteristic orange color. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is aged in neutral vessels to maintain its fresh and varietal character. No oenological additives or sulfites are used during vinification, resulting in a pure and authentic expression of the terroir.
